Duties:

The Assessment Office is responsible for assigning and maintaining market values on all properties within Bradford County. The Mapper keeps aerial maps on the entire county that show where all parcels are located. Field Investigators travel throughout the county reviewing parcels and adjusting for demolition and new construction.

Programs such as Clean & Green, LERTA and Homestead Exclusion are administered by this office and periodically county-wide reassessments are conducted.

The occupation rolls listing each resident over the age of 18 is also a responsibility of the Assessment Office and Local Assessors (elected officials) assist in assigning each person to the correct category for the purpose of occupation taxes.
