About the Office
The auditing office's main focus is to test money keeping records to prove that county money has been collected and spent properly. These duties are performed on behalf of the taxpayers, since it is their money that is involved.
Office Services
It is the duty of this office to audit all row offices in the courthouse which include Register & Recorder, Prothonotary, Sheriff, Treasurer and Tax Claim. It is also the responsibility of this office to audit the four District Justice offices and all accounts at the Bradford County Correctional Facility and the Bradford County Manor. In addition we also audit all fifty-one tax collectors in Bradford County.
Bradford County Auditors
Audrey Allen:
A native of Bradford County and graduate of Troy Area High School, Audrey Allen is serving her fourth term as Bradford County Auditor. After completing two years in accounting at Bloomsburg University, she began a twenty-five year business career of full and part-time bookkeeping positions encompassing entry level bookkeeping and preparing financial statements. Mrs. Allen regularly attends the Pennsylvania State Association of County Auditors Conventions and the spring meeting of the Northeast Caucus of County Auditors. There she participates in the seminars, workshops, and round tables. She has also attended several Controllers and County Auditors Conferences earning continuing education credits. Other activities include recently serving two terms as treasurer of the Bradford County Council of Republican Women. Now she is serving on two committee of the Troy Fair. She is a member of the Leroy Independent Baptist Church. Mrs. Allen is the wife of Gerald V. Allen of West Burlington Township and mother of three sons: Jason, Ryan, and Matthew. Her parents are Clarence and Aileen Bronson Isbell of Columbia Cross Roads.
Jeff Warner:
Jeff Warner is serving his fifth term as Bradford County Auditor. Prior to his post, he previously served twenty-six years as a township auditor. He is a graduate of Troy High School and currently serving on the board of the Troy High School Foundation. Mr. Warner is active in the Bradford-Sullivan American Red Cross, serving as blood chairman for many years. He has served on the board of the Wells Township Park since its inception in 1980. He is active in the Bradford County Democratic Party. Jeff and his wife Lynda reside in Wells Township. They have three married children, two daughters and a son and eight grandchildren.
Susan Storch:
Susan Storch completed her undergraduate degree at Susquehanna University and earned a Masters Degree from Mansfield University. Susan and her husband, Robert Storch, operate a dairy farm in Troy Township. She is also employed by the Troy Area School District as a Substitute teacher. Active in her community Susan serves as treasurer for the Allen F. Pierce Free Library, Board member of the Guthrie Health-care System, and Sunday school teacher at the First Baptist Church in Troy. She is also active in the Bradford County Republican Women. Susan and Robert reside in Troy Township; they have four children: Rob, Jonathan, Jenny and Maggie and three grandchildren.
