Agricultural Technical Assistance
Our Team works with landowners and producers to plan, design, and install Best Management Practices aimed at improving water quality, animal health, and income. Other assistance includes: agronomy, soil and manure sampling, grazing, pest management, invasive and exotic species control, and cost-share assistance.

Chesapeake Bay Program
The Susquehanna River provides 50% of the Bay's fresh water, draining every acre of Bradford County. Services include: farm nutrient management planning; financial assistance to help protect soil and water, special project grant opportunities, education for farmers and any land-users.

Nutrient Management Program
Agricultural nutrients are regulated by Pennsylvania’s Clean Streams Law and/ or Nutrient Management Act. We would be glad to assist you with conservation and nutrient management planning; plan writing certification; composting; mortality handling; home, garden, and grounds fertilization; cost-share assistance; education and outreach; complaints.

No-till Program
If you are considering or implementing no-till practices, our staff would be glad to help you with transitional and rotational planning, trouble-shooting, equipment set up and maintenance, and cost-share assistance.

Ag. Assist Program
The program provides agricultural producers the opportunity of a menu of subscription agronomic assistance. Services include planning, agronomic, record keeping and local information access. The goals are to provide assistance and farm specific information related to cropping and natural resource management that give the farmer the timely information needed to manage his or her operations.
