About the Department

Bradford county maintenance department is a service oriented group and are here to insure that county employees have a clean, well maintained and safe place to work. They not only keep the courthouse and outside offices clean, but are responsible for all electrical installations, telephone line installation, painting and repairs of office areas, routine maintenance of the county vehicles, and maintenance of 51 county bridges. There are four full time employees on the day crew and a dedicated janitorial staff of five who work on the night shift.

Maintenance Director

Kim Corbett:
Kim was born and raised in the Towanda area. He attended the Towanda Area High School and graduated in 1974. He graduated from Williamsport Area Community College in 1976, and was employed in the maintenance field at a local industry for over 27 years. Kim became the Maintenance Director for Bradford County in December of 2003. He currently lives outside of Towanda with his wife Kathy of 28 years who is employed as an RN at Robert Packer Hospital. They have four children and one precious granddaughter. Kim is a die-hard NY Yankees fan and tries to make it to a game or two a year. He enjoys watching football on Sunday afternoons, hunting and fishing, attending YHEC (shooting sports) events with his youngest son, and spending time at the family cabin.
