About the Department

The MIS Department's major responsibility is managing Bradford County's computer systems. We pride ourselves on computer support for all offices within the county. Our main concern is to help all user's whether it is for training or for general help on the computer.

Department Services

We design programs, perform system analysis and implementation of all applications. We also provide training on various software packages.

In the operations end, we do most of the heavy processing at night. We generate reports, payroll checks and account payable checks for several offices. Much of the information is posted and updated in the evening. All backups are performed after system users are finished for the day.

We are responsible for maintaining computer equipment. We recommend and make quotes on all types of hardware and software for any office involved in purchasing computer equipment.

Our purpose is to provide the County with timely and pertinent information on an on-going basis in less time than it would take to provide this information manually.
