Dept Descriptions

The auditing office’s main focus is to test money keeping records to prove that county money has been collected and spent properly. These duties are performed on behalf of the taxpayers.

Bradford County Auditors

  • Jeff Warner

    Jeff Warner previously served 26 years as a township auditor, before joining Bradford County as auditor. He is a graduate of Troy High School, and currently serving on the Board of the Troy High School Foundation. Jeff is an active participant of the Bradford-Sullivan American Red Cross, serving as Blood Chairman for many years. He has served on the Board of the Wells Township Park since its inception in 1980. He is also active in the Bradford County Democratic Party.

  • Sebrina Shanks

    Sebrina was elected as one of the County Auditors in the 2019 election.

     

    She lives in Towanda with her husband, Jeffrey, and three children: Mara, Brook, and Thomas.

    Sebrina graduated from Keystone College in 2013 with her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Previously she has been employed by the Sheriff’s office and the Bradford County Accounting Department.

     

    She is an involved member of the Independent Baptist Church in Towanda where she serves as Co-Director of the Nursery as well as Children’s Church Teacher and a classroom helper during Vacation Bible School.

     

    In the near future Sebrina plans to join the membership of the Bradford County Council of Republican Women and the Pennsylvania State Association of County Auditors.

  • Eric Matthews

    Eric was appointed as auditor in July 2019 to fill a vacancy and was subsequently elected in the 2019 general  election. He is a 1983 graduate of Athens Area High School, after which he served four years in the United States Marine Corps.  After retiring from the USMC, Eric studied business administration at Keystone College.  He and his wife Sarah have been married for over 30 years and have two children, Cadie and Ethan, as well as one grandaughter, Emma.  With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Eric has owned several small businesses over the past 25 years.  Previously, Eric has served as chairman of the Sheshequin Planning Commission, Sheshequin Township Board of Supervisors Chairman, and auditor for Sheshequin Township.  He is currently a member of the Bradford County Republican Party, where he previously served as chair for ten years. He currently serves as the Bradford County Republican State Committeeman, as well as Chairman of the Bradford Area Friends of the NRA committee.
