Services Provided
The Administrative Entity (AE) is responsible for:
- Eligibility determinations for intellectual disabilities and autism
- Monitoring of waiver services
- Oversight of Intellectual Disability service delivery in Bradford and Sullivan Counties
- Monitoring of provider compliance with State and Federal regulations
- Managing State and County funding allocations to maximize services within the allocation
- Incident Management/Investigations
Department Description
The Intellectual Disabilities Department is divided into two sub-divisions; the Administrative Entity and the Supports Coordination Organization. The program provides support services to persons with intellectual disabilities and autism and their families to support them in leading full lives in their own communities. The department is responsible for state mandated programs as administered by the state Department of Human Services and the Office of Developmental Programs.
