With more than 54,000 acres of state game land, Bradford County has a strong tradition of hunting, fishing and other outdoor recreation. There are trails for hiking and biking, with plans for more paved paths in the near future. The Susquehanna River and several lakes offer boating and other water activities. The county has several outdoors men shops that sell and rent equipment, provide group discounts and arrange overnight trips.
