Bradford County residents have been receiving an increasing number of scam telephone calls from persons impersonating Bradford County Sheriff’s Office Deputies.
Sometimes the scammer uses the name of an actual Deputy. They have also demonstrated the ability to clone the Sheriff’s Office telephone number.
The Bradford County Sheriff’s Office will never call you and request that you pay fines or fees over the telephone, or demand that you pay with bitcoin currency or money cards to pay for court costs or post bail.
