About the FacilityThe Correctional Facility in West Burlington was built in the late 1980’s. It was first occupied in 1991 and featured a variety of new conveniences and security measures not available in the previous facility. It was expanded in 2007 to a maximum bed capacity of 207 with many updated security features.
Bradford County Correctional Facility offers numerous
programs to inmates including Bible Study, 12 Step Meetings, Drug & Alcohol
program, Conflict Resolution, GED Program, ARCC Group Counsel and Parenting
Don was born and raised in Bradford County and is a graduate of Northeast Bradford High School. He is a veteran of United States Marine Corps. From 1983-1987 he served as a Presidential Guard in Washington D.C. and Camp David, Maryland. Don worked for the Maryland Department of Corrections from 1988 until 2005. He started as a Correctional Officer and was promoted through the ranks and retired as a Major. Don served as the Susquehanna County Prison Warden from 2006 until 2008. During this period the facility earned their first ever 100% compliance from the State Department of Corrections. Don came to the Bradford County Correctional Facility in 2008 serving as the Warden. This facility has earned 100% compliance from the State Department of Corrections since 2007. He was awarded a Certified Jail Manager Certificate from the American Jail Association in 2011.
Peter J. Quattrini Jr.:
Pete was born in Bradford County and is a graduate of Sayre High School.He then went on to Penn State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Justice.He started as a part-time officer for Bradford County in 1995 and worked his way through the ranks and became Deputy Warden in 2003. He also served as the D.A.R.E. officer for Troy Canton and Northeast Bradford School Districts from 2000-2003.He was awarded a Certified Jail Manager Certificate from the American Jail Association in 2011.
